Well then, the University of Worcester’s FREE Enrich business skills programme, delivered in partnership with Enterprising Worcestershire and supported by the European regional development fund, could be just the ticket for you!

Completing the programme will provide you with the insight, knowledge and ultimately confidence to freelance, become self-employed, start a business or simply grow your skillset.

What’s involved and when do I start?

We are running our first Enrich programme during the first week of March 2021. Here is an outline of what you can expect:

1 March

Morning session 2 hours

  • Introductions
  • Creating your business idea- do’s and don’ts
  • What does my business idea look like- let’s plan it together

Afternoon session 2 hours

  • Finance is meant to be daunting right?

2 March

Morning session 2 hours

  • Finance is meant to be daunting right?

Afternoon session 2 hours

  • Developing my digital brand presence
  • Show me the money and let’s see where my local support is
  • Tips and trick’s Q and A session

4 March (TBC) 2 hours- Pitch your way to perfection

  • Pitch your business idea to a panel of experts with prizes on offer.

Enrich will also offer you support and follow on in the following ways

  • Enrich weekly virtual business skills clinics through blackboard
  • One to one support blackboard session offering support with any finance ilemmas
  • One to one mentoring support sessions with our Entrepreneur’s in residence

How long is the programme ?

We only ask that you look to commit to 12 programme hours in total. Everyone will receive an Enrich certificate of completion. A real selling point for you with future employers. You can also count programme hours against Worcester Awards if you are doing this.

Please note – the programme is only available to students with a current Worcestershire postcode.
