YOUTH AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMMES
NCS with The Challenge is an exciting youth and community programme which combines outdoor activities, skill development and community volunteering. We need your skills, experience and enthusiasm as we encourage young people to try new skills and leave their comfort zone.
We have paid positions available for all entry levels, from those wishing to gain further experience in a youth work setting, to experienced Project Managers, Teachers and Youth Workers.

PRACTITIONER ROLES
Practitioner Roles: (Non-residential) This role requires an individual with experience and training in a particular skill, and the ability to engage a group and share their knowledge and passion for their skill.
Teach your chosen skill to a group of twelve young people over three mornings, and accompany your teams on community visits. Then work with the team to create a showcase the skills they have developed.
We have practitioner roles available in drama, media, enterprise, photography, music and sport.
OTHER PAID OPPORTUNITIES
Leader Roles (Semi-residential) Lead 60 young people and 15 staff members through a complex and demanding programme, and be responsible for challenging behaviour during residential stays.
Mentor Roles (Semi-residential) Facilitate, lead and pastorally care for your team, ensuring the personal development of each young person while undertaking various exciting activities.
Support Worker Roles (Semi-residential) Focus on ensuring a young person with additional requirements can participate to their full potential on the programme, through one-to-one support.
Logistics Officer Roles (Non-residential) Be responsible for the logistical management of the programme and manage relationships with key partners and the young people.
