The Malvern Hills Graduate Grant Scheme will enable Malvern Hills businesses to claim £1,000 towards the costs of recruiting a year in industry placement student from the University of Worcester Business School and between £1,250 – £3,000 to recruit to a new graduate level job through the Graduate Advantage internship programme (including a £1,000 Graduate Advantage bursary).
Standard eligibility framework for the overall scheme includes –
- To be eligible to apply for the grant the business must be a private sector SME (small or medium sized enterprise) or social enterprise based in and trading from the Malvern Hills District postcode area.
- Grants will only be available to eligible SMEs who have not been awarded a graduate recruitment grant from public funds within the previous 12 months from the date of their application to the Malvern Hills Graduate Grant scheme.
- Applications for the grant will only be formally accepted on referral by Graduate Advantage or the University of Worcester Business School and grant awards are subject to compliance with the relevant delivery partners’ terms and conditions.
- SMEs may apply for a maximum of 4 grants, subject to a cap of 2 from each grant option – Grant 1: Year in Industry Work Placement (Worcester Business School); Grant 2: Internships (Graduate Advantage).
