There are two major technology trends which are in the news, the first is how we are using apps for everything in daily life and the second is cyber security and how to stay safe.

This high profile series of events held on the first Wednesday of every month, focused on exploring this question.  The events will facilitate two speakers, two product/services demonstrations, exhibition stands, founders meetup area, music/entertainment and refreshments. Starting at 5.30pm and ending at 8pm. This months theme is:

Building Apps & Digital Security

PCA Predict (formerly Postcode Anywhere)

Life is full of challenges. Deciding what to do is the easy part, whilst getting up and making it happen is what separates those who are successful in life from those who just make up the numbers. There is a place for all types on this planet, however, I personally feel that the real excitement of living a life where you are making things happen is that you never know what opportunities you will uncover. That’s what gets me out of bed in the morning, which lights my fire or floats my boat. If you are interested in hearing what life is like in the land of the entrepreneur – come and hear my presentation.

Michael and James stated the business. Michael, is the Chief Technical Officer, has been involved in numerous projects as part of the Cyber Apprenticeship Development Scheme (CADS). James, the Chief Operations Officer, has gained extensive work experience in cyber security industry such as helping to design and assemble the National Cyber Skills Centre (NCSC) and has reviewed the syllabus for a new cyber security GCSE as part of the CADS. Additionaly, he has worked with Erasmus students from the European Union (EU) and visited the University of Jyväskylä (EU’s specialist in cyber security) as an ambassador for the CADS.

No Q

Started in 2014, the No Q app is the best way to order coffee on the go. Order:  Place your order at one of our high quality local coffee shops within the application and pay online. Stuff in the background:  We detect when you get close to the coffee shop and notify your barista to prepare everything. Enjoy:  Pick up your coffee and get drinking!
